Argentina legend scores five goals in three games as Inter Miami beat Orlando City

After Inter Miami's Leagues Cup match against Orlando City was delayed by 95 minutes due to inclement weather, Lionel Messi scored for the third consecutive game.

Again, Miami's early lead against Orlando City was due in large part to Taylor and Messi's relationship.

Taylor came up with a brilliant chip that found Messi in the box, and the Argentine icon finished it superbly.

Near the conclusion of the first half, Messi nearly scored again on a thundering free kick, but Orlando City goalkeeper Pedro Gallese made a spectacular diving save.

While running behind the play, Messi seemed to trip Orlando City's Wilder Cartagena, leading to his first yellow card in Major League Soccer.

Messi scored again in the 72nd minute to give his team a comfortable victory and make it five goals in three games.

While everything was going on, Messi's third game with Inter Miami was delayed 95 minutes due to rain.

Messi and his Inter Miami colleagues showed up 45 minutes early to warm up at DRV PNK Stadium. About 20 minutes later, the rain really started coming down hard.
