Lindsay Lohan said she was "so proud" of her body because it carried and gave birth to her and her husband Bader Shammas's new boy Luai.

Lindsay Lohan enjoys the joys of being a mom every Wednesday.

The star of "The Parent Trap" gave a sweet report on her life after giving birth, saying that she is thankful to her body for giving birth to her and her husband's new son, Luai.

Lindsay wrote in the caption of a mirror picture of her in comfy clothes, "I am so proud of what this body was able to do during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery.

Having a child is the most wonderful thing in the world! My current OOTD is my @fridamom postpartum underwear."

Lindsay added, "Because I'm not a regular mom, I'm a postpartum mom." This was a reference to her 2004 movie Mean Girls.

Lindsay gave birth to Luai almost three weeks ago in Dubai, where she lives with her husband.

On July 17, her representative told E! News, "The family is over the moon in love."

The same day, her mom, Dina Lohan, talked about how excited she was to become a grandma.

Dakota Lohan, the actress's brother, also showed what it's like to be a new uncle by posting pictures from his trip to Dubai to see Lindsay's family.
